Fannin County, Georgia has a small facility that is used to house stray and quarantined dogs. It is not a humane society and can absorb only a very few homeless animals. Every attempt is made to adopt out or transfer animals to animal rescue organizations. Animal Control also investigates animal cruelty complaints, which is done in conjunction with the Fannin County Georgia Sheriff’s Office.
